The training and preparation of the 10 year plan and development for the officials and staff of the Ministry of Defense is underway.

The training was organized by the Director General of Defense Planning Reporting and Monitoring in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Development of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE).

At the end of the training, M / T Tiruye Assefe, Director of the Defense Women's Affairs Directorate, said that capacity building training is especially important for our institution at this time. He said he is confident that the trainees will be able to move the institution's capacity to a higher level by transforming the capacity gained from the training into institutional capacity.

Maj. Gen. Tiruye Assefe thanked the Ministry of Planning and Development for providing the training. Habtamu Takele, director of the development planning directorate at the Ministry of Planning and Development, said it is important to inform the officers and members of the Defense Forces' 10 year plan planning and monitoring report. This national plan is a response to the current situation, outlines specific goals and includes our next goal.

"Peace is important for this success," he said. According to Col. Tamrat Hirpasa and Astaye Samuel, who participated in the four-day training at the Officers' Club, the training will help them develop a consistent plan as an institution and provide them with technical know-how and follow-up techniques.
