Good performance on major macroeconomic plans revealed

Addis Ababa: December 30, 2014 (FBC) The Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Fitsum Assefa said good results have been achieved in major macroeconomics, including new tax base expansion, budget deficit and project monitoring.

According to the Minister of Finance, a 100-day plan review has been carried out on the major macroeconomic performance, including domestic revenue, expansion of new tax bases, budget deficit, and monitoring of projects.

Finance Minister Ahmed Shide responded to questions from the review team during the review of the Ministry of Finance.

Dr. Fitsum noted in the review that major macroeconomic performance, including domestic revenue, new tax base, budget deficit, and project monitoring, has been positive.

According to information received from the Ministry, the Indigenous Reform is showing good performance in the national revenue collection.
