The Industrial Parks Development Corporation and the National Identity Project have launched a pilot project

 The National Identity Registration Project, jointly run by the Industrial Parks Development Corporation and the National Identity Project, has officially launched in Bole Lemi Industrial Park.

Launching the pilot project, Industrial Parks Development Corporation CEO Sandokan Debebe said the National Identity Project is an important project that has brought about change and has not been done as a country.

He said the project is linked to security, banking system, law enforcement, economic activities and other national issues.

National Identity Project Project Manager with the Prime Minister's Office, Yodahe Arayaslassie, on his part said the park is a good option for implementing the pilot project as it will enable more than 20,000 citizens in Bole Lemi Industrial Park to be located in one place.

According to information obtained from the Industrial Parks Development Corporation, the park is a project that has a lot of benefits for the staff to be aware of, to provide the necessary monitoring.

The National Identity Test pilot project, launched at Bole Lemi Industrial Park, which has more than 20,000 employees, will be completed in less than two months.

The National Identity Project is under the auspices of the Prime Minister's Office and ይሰራል It is estimated that by 2018, up to 70 million Ethiopians and foreigners will have a digital ID or unique identification code.
