Trade for Peace and Sustainable Development of Ethiopia "Business Community Consultation Forum Held
The Business Community Consultative Forum on "Trade for Peace and Sustainable Development of Ethiopia" was held today.
The consultative forum, co-organized by the Ministry of Peace and Initiative Africa, discussed the challenges and opportunities of Ethiopia's peace policy and the role of the business community with various sectors of the business community and public enterprises.
He said the business community should play an important role in promoting peace and national reconciliation, adding that unemployment, high cost of living, economic exploitation and the like should be prevented more than ever before.
State Minister for Peace Building and National Reconciliation, Taye Dendea, said businesses are the backbone of the country and are expected to implement peace ideas in their work.
He added that businesses should work for the benefit of the country and the community, create jobs and share the burden of living in the community and ensure peace and stability.
According to the Ministry, the main objectives of Ethiopia's peace policy are to enable the trade sector to demand its rights, fulfill its obligations and fulfill its responsibilities in national affairs.
