The support and contribution of a young man in Debarq to the Defense Forces has attracted a lot of attention.
It is called the Miracle of a Young Man. He was born and raised in Debarq, North Gondar Zone. He is 17 years old and an 11th grader. He is the only child in his family. It is run by Listro.
When young Tamrat Kesela, the terrorist and invading TPLF, planned to cut off Debarq and Dabat woredas and flee through Gondar, he said he had supported our heroic defense force, from snacks to snipers.
He said that he had personally witnessed the destruction of the enemy by shedding white sweat and blood on high mountains that were hard to see.
"Ever since I saw this action, I have decided to support what we have with our heroic army, which will pay for his irreplaceable life for me," says young Tamrat.
I support myself and my family through Listro. To the best of my ability, we can paint our shoes for our heroic army for free. "I will apply free shoes to our defense force," he said.
In addition, I support the heroic defense every month by deducting 15 percent of my daily income. "I will continue to do so," he said.
A resident of Debarq town, Getachew Assefa, said the young man was a hero who created a great impetus for the army to support the army in any way he could.
Our army will not hesitate to lay down its life in the struggle for survival for the sake of the country and the people. As long as the united arm of our people is on our side, there is no doubt that we will be victorious.
Glory be to our people, Ethiopia has won.
The Directorate of Defense has also briefed military attendees on current, national and military issues.
Ambassador Fisseha Shawul, Director General of Neighboring Countries and East African Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), recalled that the terrorist group had resorted to force instead of answering questions in the wake of the uprising that erupted five years ago. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture.
According to the ambassador, the terrorist group is currently using humanitarian aid to the people of Tigray and using vehicles to meet its military needs. The group is also not creating conditions for human supply.
The Director of the Directorate of Defense, B / J Bulti Tadesse, stated that the terrorist group has declared war on our people and has committed atrocities, looting and other human rights violations.
"Our army is now in a state of readiness and has developed the capacity to carry out future missions," he said.
During the discussion, some Western politicians, media and activists were briefed on the scale of the campaign against our country and how our country has been able to withstand the onslaught of large-scale campaigns.
